The Eternal Redemption of Christ

Hebrews 9:11  But Christ, having come as a High Priest of the good things that have come into being, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made by hands, that is, not of this creation,

12 And not through the blood of goats and calves but through His own blood, entered once for all into the Holy of  Holies, obtaining an eternal redemption.

Wow, Christ is our High priest!  This High Priest offered not the blood of other creatures but his own blood, entered into the Holy of holies and obtained an ETERNAL REDEMPTION.  That means that the effectiveness of Christ’s redemption is eternal.  It not only spans time but extends beyond the realm of time into eternity.  Wowsers!

Rivers of Living Water

John 7:37  Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.

38 He who believes into Me, as the Scripture said, out of his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water.

39 But this He said concerning the Spirit, whom those who believed into Him were about to receive; for the Spirit was not yet, because Jesus had not yet been glorified.

When you believe into Christ out of your innermost being shall flow rivers of living water!  This living water is the Spirit!

Marvelous Transformation

Romans 12:2 And do not be fashioned according to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of the emind that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and well pleasing and perfect.

2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all with unveiled face, beholding and reflecting like a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord Spirit.

Transformation is part of our organic salvation when we believe into Christ, receive eternal life, and begin to experience this life within us.  What does it do?  It transforms us into the image of Christ from one degree of glory to another degree of glory.  So you don’t have to try to express God in yourself.  A child does not have to exert much effort to try to look, act like their parents.  For this is according to the life they have received.  They are simply born, grow, then spontaneously they express mom and dad, act like mom and dad.  The life that we have received is very active.  It is busy Transforming us day by day!  Whew hew!

All the Nations are Blessed

Genesis 22:15  And the Angel of Jehovah called to Abraham a second time from the heavens

16 And said, By Myself I have sworn, declares Jehovah: Because you have done this thing and have not withheld your son, your only son,

17 I will surely bless you and will greatly multiply your seed like the stars of the heavens and like the sand which is on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of his enemies.

18 And in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.

Galatians 3:8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles out of faith, announced the gospel beforehand to Abraham: “In you shall all the nations be blessed.”

Galatians 3:14 In order that the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

God promised to bless Abraham and his seed.  And that all of the nations would be blessed in him.  What exactly is this blessing?  This blessing is actually Christ as the Spirit for all the nations to enjoy and possess!  What God actually spoke to Abraham was concerning the promise of the Spirit through faith in Christ.  The Spirit is the real blessing.  If you have believed into Christ and called upon his name then you are blessed!  O’ what a Spirit!  O’ what a blessing!

Christ the Son of Abraham

Genesis 22:17   I will surely bless you and will greatly multiply your seed like the stars of the heavens and like the sand which is on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of his enemies.

18 And in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.

Matthew 1:1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham:

16 But to Abraham were the promises spoken and to his seed. He does not say, “And to the seeds,” as concerning many, but as concerning one: “And to your seed,” who is Christ.

Christ the Son of David

Matthew 1:1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham:

2 Samuel 7:12 When your days are fulfilled and you sleep with your fathers, I will raise up your seed after you, which will come forth from your body, and I will establish his kingdom.

13 It is he who will build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

14 I will be his Father, and he will be My son. If he commits iniquity, I will strike him with the rod of men and with the stripes of the sons of men;

King David wanted to build a house for God to dwell in.  But God came in to stop him and said “is it you who will build a house for me?”  he then proceeded to prophesy to King David that he would raise up his seed after him.  And it would be this seed that would build a house for his name, inherit the throne, and have an established kingdom.  Christ is this prophesied seed.  Actually the very first verse in the new testament verifies that he is the Son of David, a royal title and heir to the throne.  We love you Christ Son of David!

Simply Awesome

Colossians  2:8 Beware that no one carries you off as spoil through his philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the elements of the world, and not according to Christ;

9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily

I said it once and I’ll say it again, Christ is awesome.  When I say awesome I mean it in the real sense of the word AWESOME.  Here is a man who has the fullness of the Godhead dwelling in him bodily.  The Godhead is the deity of Christ.  The fullness is of the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit.  Now this fullness dwells in a person, a human being, a man.  An awesome man.  What you see is a man but what is expressed and manifested is the fullness of the Godhead.  God himself.  This is real beauty.  God expressed through humanity.
